Join us for the first edition of the NYC Teas of the World Festival. Taste teas from around the globe and learn about ancestral and contemporary tea traditions. This year’s festival will include tea producers and importers from around the world. Meet experts from Japan, India, France and Brooklyn and taste their rare and exquisite products. Wether you are a tea connoisseur or a novice you’ll find workshops and lectures to expand your knowledge about this complex and delightful beverage. This year’s highlights include: a lecture by Mary Smith, co-author of “The Story of Tea: A Cultural History & Drinking Guide” and a workshop on baking with matcha.
